Afritex professionally affords your company the opportunity to market your brands and products at electrical exhibitions throughout Sub Saharan Africa.

 

Regardless the size of your company, exposure is essential. If your strategy is to explore new markets, aiming to expand your African footprint into neighbouring countries or move further afield. Our experience, knowledge and connections are invaluable to you.

 

Annually our exhibiting companies decide inline with their export sales strategies, which countries they want included in the following year’s calendar. From their collective input we compile the next years calendar. Consideration is given to public holidays, religious observances, government elections, conflicting events etc; prior to formalising and publishing the dates and venues. Afritex makes it happen!

 

If you are considering participating in our calendar you should decide on your strategy, are you “testing the water”, establishing new business partners, enhancing your distribution network, supporting local representation, end user exposure or “flying the flag”. Afritex is the route to take!

 

Afritex is in the unique position that we focus on the electrical industry which includes the branches of automation, control, instrumentation and renewable energy. Our visitors are from many varied industries, power generation, mining, food and beverage manufacture, water and waste etc.

 

The major exhibitions are staged in cities and therefore attract those in nearby industries, whereas Afritex not only concentrate on cities but include outlying areas where there is an audience. Thereby giving the opportunity to those in remote areas and the different strata’s of employment.

What does the stand cost cover?

The stand area is open plan and usually 3x3m. The stand is equipped with one table, two chairs and a table cloth. Each exhibitor is issued with name tags and drink vouchers. Snacks are available at intervals throughout the exhibition. Exclusions include flights, all road transport, accommodation, subsistence and any other costs incurred.

Travel arrangements

We advise on flight schedules to and from events. A detailed itinerary for the exhibitor's consideration and planning. Advise on immigration requirements (health and visa). Advise on car hire companies and contact details. Booking of shuttles from the airport to hotel and return. Block booking of exhibitor's accommodation. Any discounts are passed onto the exhibitor. Organising road transfers between multiple exhibition venues, but in the same country.

Prior to the exhibition

Invitations are sent out electronically, with timely reminders Arranging of local introductions (where feasible).

At the exhibition

All invited visitors, are of a technical background and from a relevant industry are registered at the entrance to the exhibition. We capture the visitors name, company, job title and contact details. They are issued a name tag indicating their first name and company. Accompanying their name tag visitors are issued with complimentary refreshment vouchers. Refreshments are served at intervals throughout the exhibition.
